Overnight 15 Minute Closures on Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) in Campbell County Beginning Monday, Sept. 23
Temporary closures from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for three nights
COVINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 18, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of nightly 15 minute closures on Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) in Campbell County beginning Monday, Sept. 23.
Alexandria Pike will be closed for approximately 15 minute intervals south of the AA Highway (KY 9) at mile point 13.41. These temporary closures are necessary for Duke Energy to install powerlines across U.S. 27.
These 15 minute closures will take place periodically overnight between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route to avoid potential delays during these overnight hours.
Weather permitting, this utility work is expected to be completed Thursday, Sept. 26 at 5 a.m.
