Paving Project Started on KY 92 and U.S. 27 in McCreary County
SOMERSET, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that a paving project has started on a portion of KY 92 and U.S. 27 in McCreary County.
Work is being performed in the following locations:
-KY 92 between the Cumberland River Bridge (mile point 10.3) and Lower Shirt Factory Road (mile point 15.6)
-U.S. 27 between KY 478 (mile point 9.1) and County Park Road (mile point 11.1)
KYTC ask motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect lane closures, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
Work is expected to be complete mid-October. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
