Resurfacing Project on Portion of Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) in Campbell County to Begin Next Week
Daytime single lane closure within project limits
COVINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 6, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a resurfacing project on Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) in Campbell County will begin the week of Sept. 8.
Crews will be working on Alexandria Pike just north of Plum Creek Road (1.11 mile point) extending north to 0.13 miles south of Nagel Road (1.85 mile point), a distance of 0.74 miles.
Contractors are expected to begin milling/paving operations by the middle to end of next week. Motorists should expect single lane closures from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic safely through the work zone.
Please drive carefully through the project area. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route to avoid potential delays.
Mago Construction Company LLC, is contracted to perform the $130,241 project on behalf of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. Weather permitting, the project has an expected completion date of late September.
