Blasting operations scheduled for Interstate 75 in
Scott County
Between milepoints 128.5 and 129.1
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 28, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled blasting operations. The blasting is necessary for a new truck location. Temporary stoppages will be necessary for the project to begin.
Thursday, Aug. 29 through Friday, Sept. 13 – 2 p.m. weekdays (time is approximate)
Interstate 75 - North and Southbound
- motorists will be slowed/stopped between milepoints 128.5 - 129.1 for intervals of approximately 20 – 30 minutes at a time
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
