Traffic Advisory: Daytime Closures on KY 799 in Rowan County for Embankment Repairs
Closed 8-5, Monday to Friday, to all thru traffic
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 26, 2024) – State highway crews will temporarily close KY 799 (Big Perry) to all thru traffic to install T-rail to shore up the embankment and make drainage repairs at several locations between Holly Fork at Triplett (milepoint 5) and just south of the I-64 overpass (milepoint 3).
Work and road closures will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Friday, Aug. 30. Electronic message boards will be used to alert traffic. All thru traffic should detour using US 60, KY 32, and KY 377 through Morehead.
