TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Daytime Closures of KY 3301 Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Fleming County
KYTC crews to replace cross drains
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 23, 2024) – Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 28, KY 3301 (Beechburg Road) will be closed between milepoint 3 (Colgan Road) and milepoint 6 (KY 559) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily as crews replace multiple cross drains. Daytime closures will continue through Friday, Aug. 30.
The road will be closed at KY 559 and the northernmost Colgan Road intersection with only local traffic permitted past this point. No detour will be posted, but traffic can use KY 57 and KY 559 through Flemingsburg to navigate around the closure. Message boards will be set up to alert traffic.
Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
