A Section of East Mt. Vernon Street in the City of Somerset Set for Temporary Closure
SOMERSET, Ky. (Aug. 19, 2024) – The City of Somerset will temporarily close a section of East Mt. Vernon Street (KY 80X) next week as crews perform pavement repairs.
Beginning Monday, Aug. 26, East Mt. Vernon Street will be closed to through traffic between South Central Ave. (mile point 3.8) and College Street/KY 2296 (mile point 3.85). Work is expected to be complete Friday, Aug. 30.
The start date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
