Slide Repair Project on Walnut Valley Road (KY 184) in Gallatin County Beginning Monday, Aug. 19
Crews will work between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
COVINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 12, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a slide repair project on Walnut Valley Road (KY 184) in Gallatin County beginning Monday, Aug. 19.
Crews will be performing landslide repairs and installing guardrail in several areas on Walnut Valley Road. These repairs will be made at mile points 3.25, 3.675 and 5.3. Crews will be working between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect temporary signals in these three locations to help guide traffic safely through the work zones.
Motorists should expect minor delays during working hours, and should consider an alternate route. Please, drive safely through the work zone to keep our crews safe.
Once completed, these landslide repairs will result in improved drainage and safety for all motorists.
Weather permitting, this project is expected to be completed Friday, Oct. 18.
