Closed Aug. 12-16, day and night, for slide repairs
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 8, 2024) – State highway crews will close part of KY 538 (Lake Bonita Road) from Monday through Friday next week, Aug. 12-16, for a slide repair.
The road will remain closed all five days, day and night, to all thru traffic from Cannonsburg Road (KY 3294 milepoint 3.2) to Lake Drive (milepoint 3.7). There will be barricades and signs near the intersections of Cannonsburg Road and US 23 to warn traffic. All thru traffic should detour using KY 3294 and US 23, or other routes.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones, and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling. For up-to-date traffic information, go to goky.ky.gov or use the WAZE app.
