KY 451 in Perry County to be closed Friday, Aug. 2 for railroad crossing repairs
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 451 in Perry County should plan to use an alternate route on Friday, Aug. 2.
The road will be closed at milepoint 12.045, just north of Yerkes and approximately 1 mile north of KY 2022 at Busy, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. to allow CSX Transportation to make repairs to a railroad crossing.
A signed detour will be posted along KY 80, KY 15, and KY 28 via Combs, Hazard, Grapevine, and Chavies.
In case of inclement weather, the project may be delayed until another suitable date.
Approximately 530 vehicles use this route each day.
