TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Daily Lane Closures on I-65 Beginning Thursday, Aug. 1, in Bullitt County
Routine bridge inspection scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 31, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of daily lane closures on Interstate 65 beginning Thursday, Aug. 1, in Bullitt County.
KYTC engineers will perform the routine hands-on inspection of the I-65 bridge over the Salt River at mile point 116.1 next week, requiring daily lane closures. Prior to the inspection, KYTC crews will clean the bridge deck, which will also require lane closures. Details on the scheduled lane closures are provided below:

Thursday, Aug. 1
9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Right lane closure on I-65 South from mile marker 116 to mile marker 117.

Thursday, Aug. 1
12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Right lane closure on I-65 North from mile marker 116 to mile marker 117.

Monday, Aug. 5, and Tuesday, Aug. 6
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Right lane closure on I-65 South from mile marker 116 to mile marker 117.

Wednesday, Aug. 7, and Thursday, Aug. 8
8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Right lane closure on I-65 North from mile marker 116 to mile marker 117.
Motorists should heed signage and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
