Portion of Four Mile Road (KY 547) in Campbell County to Close for Culvert Repair Project Beginning Monday, Aug. 5

24/7 closure will be in place for two weeks

COVINGTON, Ky. (July 30, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a road closure on Four Mile Road (KY 547) in Campbell County beginning Monday, Aug. 5 at 8 a.m. This 24/7 closure is necessary for crews to safely repair a damaged culvert.

The culvert being repaired is located south of the intersection of Four Mile Road and Stonehouse Road (KY 1997). Crews will close the portion of Four Mile Road from the KY 9 (AA Highway) (1.84 mile point) to Stonehouse Road (2.92 mile point), a distance of 1.08 miles. Local traffic will be maintained up until the work zone.

The project consists of re-forming and reinforcing a damaged portion of a culvert. Once completed, this work will improve drainage resulting in a safer drive for all road users.

A signed detour will be in place to guide motorists safely around the work zone. Please, drive carefully near the work area.

DETOUR: AA Highway (KY 9) to Stonehouse Road (KY 1997) to Four Mile Road.

The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 16.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
