COVINGTON, Ky. (July 26, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an overnight ramp closure in Kenton County on Friday, July 26, as part of a brush clearing project.
Kenton County KYTC maintenance crews will close the on-ramp from West Fourth Street (KY 8) in Covington to Interstates 71/75 southbound beginning at 8 p.m. This ramp will be closed overnight until Saturday, July 27 at 6 a.m. The ramp will be closed between mile points 0.0 and 0.27, a distance of 0.27 miles.

Weather permitting, the brush clearing project will be completed and the ramp will reopen Saturday, July 27 at 6 a.m.
NOTE: The scheduled Friday, July 26 closure of the I-71/75 northbound off-ramp to East Fifth Street (exit 192) for a soil stabilization and repair project has been postponed. KYTC will update on social media and the District 6 Roadshow when crews will return to this site.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow.
