Operations scheduled for Interstate 75 in
Scott County
Application for white and yellow stripes on concrete bridges
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 25, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled work for Interstate 75 in Scott County. Single lane closures will be necessary for tape application on concrete bridges for white and yellow striping.
Pre-formed taping application will be performed as a part of maintenance and for safety. The taping will include edgelines, which indicate where a lane ends and where the road shoulder begins. Pre-formed tape has excellent visibility and retro reflectivity.
Sunday, July 28 through Thursday evening, August 1/Thursday morning, August 2 – 7 p.m. evenings until 5 a.m. the following mornings
Interstate 75
- operations will be in effect from between milepoints 121.1 and 143.0
- work will begin at the Fayette County line progressing northbound to the Grant County line and continue next in the southbound direction
- single lane closures will be in place at each concrete bridge overpass
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
