Public Meeting to Present Designs for U.S. 62 Improvements in Elizabethtown
KYTC seeks input on alternatives to address safety and congestion
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (July 22, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will host a public meeting Tuesday evening, August 13, 2024 at Elizabethtown Tourism and Convention Bureau (located at 1030 North Mulberry Street) to present design alternatives developed to address congestion and safety within the U.S. 62 interstate interchange corridor by improving intersections and accommodations for pedestrians.
The meeting will be an open-house format. No formal presentation will be held, but individuals can stop in anytime between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to review displays, ask questions and discuss project alternatives with KYTC engineers and staff, as well as consultant personnel.
Citizens preferring a virtual setting can view project information and complete a survey by accessing the project website, www.drive62.com, where responses will be collected through the September 13, 2024 survey deadline.
