Lane closures scheduled for
Georgetown Road/US 25 in Fayette County
Shoulder repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 16, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures for Georgetown Road/US 25 in Lexington. The temporary closures are necessary for shoulder repair operations.
Thursday, July 18 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Friday, July 19 – 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Georgetown Road/US 25
- lane closures will be in effect at milepoint 20.0
- the closures will be between Berea Road and Kearney Road
- one lane will remain open for motorists with flaggers onsite to guide traffic
All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
