Public Meeting to Present Design Alternatives for Glendale Northeast Bypass in Hardin County
KYTC seeks input to connect KY 222 to KY 1136
ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (Jul. 15, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will host a public meeting Tuesday evening, July 30th at East Hardin Middle School to present design alternatives developed to improve system connectivity and reduce anticipated traffic through the Glendale Historic District.
The open-house format meeting will be in the gymnasium of the middle school. No formal presentation will be held, but individuals can stop in anytime between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm to review displays, ask questions and discuss project alternatives with KYTC engineers and staff, as well as consultant personnel.
Citizens preferring a virtual setting can view project information and complete a survey by accessing the project website, www.glendalestudy.com, where responses will be collected through the August 30, 2024 survey deadline. Written comments may also be submitted to Kevin Blain, P.E. by email or mail, at kevin.blain@ky.gov or PO Box 309, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
