Work Zone on KY 272 (Caledonia Rd) at 5.5mm in Trigg County for Sinkhole Repair Today
Lane Restriction in place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 10, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone lane restriction along KY 272 (Caledonia Road) in Trigg County today.
KY 272 (Caledonia Road) will be restricted to one lane near the 5.5 mile point to allow repairs to a sinkhole at the edge of the roadway. This is along KY 272 between Cliffwood Drive and Glenwood Mill Road.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
This work zone is expected to be active from 8 a.m., CDT, to about 3 p.m., today.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
