Traffic Advisory: Temporary One-Lane Traffic on KY 344 in Lewis County Closed Next Week
One lane traffic at milepoint 13 closed for culvert repair
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 3, 2024) – The Kentucky Department of Highways District 9 will temporarily restrict KY 344 to one-lane traffic at milepoint 13 in Lewis County to repair a culvert.
Crews will close one lane of KY 344 West of KY 377 beginning Monday, July 8, and continuing through Monday, July 15, using temporary traffic signals throughout the duration of the project. The deteriorated culvert will be repaired by replacing a steel beam and forming up a new concrete headwall.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
