Traffic Advisory: Daytime Lane Closures on US 421 in Jackson County
For pipe replacements; part of safety improvements
MANCHESTER, Ky. (June 10, 2024) – Work related to an ongoing highway safety improvement project will require lane closures and temporary traffic stoppages on U.S. 421 in Jackson County.
Beginning June 17, contractors will replace drainage pipes underneath U.S. 421 from Sandgap to the Rockcastle County line (mile markers 21 to 30). One lane of the highway will be closed and all traffic controlled by flaggers in work areas. Temporarily stopped traffic and delays are possible. Work and traffic changes will take place until further notice.
