Bridge repairs for the Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002
Anderson and Woodford Counties
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 7, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of upcoming work for the Bluegrass Parkway/KY 9002. The location is the bridge over the Kentucky River between Anderson and Woodford Counties. Bridge and barrier wall repairs will begin in July at milepoint 69.10.
The $9,760,027 million contract was awarded to Hall Contracting of Kentucky Inc. and is expected to be complete in January 2026. The traveling public will be informed of significant changes to traffic patterns through advisories furnished to media outlets.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
