Update - Cable barrier project continues for I 64 in Clark and Montgomery Counties
The project is located between milepoints 98 and 115
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 6, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The highway cable barrier installation project is progressing for Interstate 64. Cable barriers have been proven to increase safety for the traveling public.
Friday, June 7 through Thursday, Oct. 31 – 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays
Interstate 64
- lane closures are in effect
- work is located between milepoints 98 and 115
- operations began at the Bath/Montgomery County line and will continue to Clark County at the I 64 Rest Area
- motorists can pass through the work zone
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
