UPDATE: I-165 Ramp Closures Scheduled This Week
Work planned from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (June 4, 2024)– Due to the forecasted weather on Wednesday, the decision was made to move planned ramp closures at the intersection of I-165 and the Western Kentucky Parkway back by one day.
KYTC now plans to close I-165 exit D, the ramp leading from southbound Interstate 165 to westbound WK on Thursday, June 6. On Friday exit B, which leads from the westbound WK to southbound I-165 will be closed. On Monday, exit F, the ramp from northbound I-165 to westbound WK will be closed.
In the event that weather interferes with the planned closures, work will be delayed by one day. All work will be conducted during the work week, so in the event of a one-day delay, the work now scheduled for Friday would happen on Monday and Monday’s work would be moved to Tuesday.
During the closure, crews will be pouring new concrete and installing new guardrails along the affected exit ramp.

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (June 4, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is planning three days of ramp closures at the intersection of I-165 and the Western Kentucky Parkway in Ohio County to allow personnel the chance to complete work on drainage issues at that location.
The closures are scheduled from 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
