ALERT: Traffic Signal Out of Service on U.S. 60 at McCracken County High School Entrance

Intersection temporarily converted to ALL-WAY Stop

PADUCAH, Ky. (June 4, 2024)  A crash has taken down a traffic signal on U.S. 60/Hinkleville Road at the entrance to McCracken County High School in western McCracken County.

The intersection at U.S. 60 mile point 7.8 will temporarily be converted to an ALL-WAY Stop until the traffic signal can be reconstructed.

Motorists should use appropriate caution when approaching this intersection between KY 1565 and Massac Creek Bridge, approximately 1.5 miles east of the KY 305/Cairo Road/Fisher Road intersection.

A KYTC signal crew expects to be at the site over the next several days as weather allows, working to rebuild the traffic signal.  Motorists should be alert for bucket trucks working in and around the intersection.  Some work zone lane restrictions are likely during phases of the work.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates as the work progresses.
