Update - Intersection project in Bourbon County
US 460 and Russell Cave Road/KY 353 at milepoint 1.0
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 29, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The rebuild project for the new intersection is progressing. The Lexington (Fayette County) side of Russell Cave Road/KY 353 will be open at the intersection of US 460. The Cynthiana side (Harrison County) will be closed.
Thursday, May 30 through Friday, May 31 – 8 a.m. Thursday until 4 p.m. Friday
US 460
- a closure will be in effect at the intersection of US 460 and Russell Cave Road (milepoint 1.0)
- this is the Cynthiana (Harrison County) side
Alternate Route
- motorists can take US 62 to KY 922
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
