Residents Asked Not to Place Storm Debris on State Right-of-Way
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (May 29, 2024) – Following a weekend storm system that left hundreds of trees and tree debris in and on the side of roads, state highway crews continue with cleanup efforts. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is reminding residents that removal of debris on private property is the responsibility of the property owner.
Residents should not be placing storm debris on state right-of-way. Any debris, including trees that have already been placed on state right-of-way, should be removed from the right-of-way immediately.
