Cross drain replacement work completed
PADUCAH, Ky. (May 24, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has reopened a section of KY 131/Said Road north of the Symsonia community in Graves County.
KY 131/Said Road was closed at the 12.8 mile point this morning to allow a damaged cross drain to be replaced between Symsonia and the Graves-McCracken County Line.
The work has been completed and the roadway reopened to traffic earlier than anticipated.
Motorists should be alert for Rough Pavement signs as they approach this location. The excavation has been backfilled with millings and will be allowed to settle before a permanent asphalt cap is placed over the culvert.
