UPDATE: Bridge Inspection Planned for Owensboro's Blue Bridge
Contractor will be on the Glover Cary Bridge on June 3 - 7
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 24, 2024) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to perform an inspection of the Glover Cary Bridge over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro beginning on Monday, June 3, 2024.
This will require a single lane restriction from 9 a.m. to around 3 p.m. Monday June 3 through Friday, June 7 as inspectors use man lifts and under bridge inspection vehicles to complete their work.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic controlled by flaggers for the duration of the inspection. Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
