Two Lanes Currently Blocked on I-65 South for Bridge Deck Repairs in Jefferson County
Repairs expected to be complete today
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 22, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists two lanes are currently blocked on an Interstate 65 South bridge near hospital curve in Jefferson County (mile point 135.5) in Jefferson County. One southbound lane is still open to traffic while crews perform deck repairs to address a pothole.
Work to fill the hole is expected to be completed today. As a precaution during repairs, two lanes below I-65 South on Brook Street are blocked. Motorists may seek an alternate route or expect potential travel delays during the afternoon commute. Please slow down and watch for workers when traveling through the mobile work zone.
