Rest area closure scheduled for I 64 in
Woodford County
Interstate 64 at milepoint 60.2
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 17, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a rest area closure in Woodford County. The temporary closure is necessary for entrance and exit ramps to the facility to be repaired.
Monday, May 20 through Tuesday, May 21 – 7 a.m. Monday until 5 p.m. on Tuesday
Interstate 64
The eastbound rest area will be closed at milepoint 60.2:
- the entrance and exit ramps to the rest area will be closed for concrete repairs
- the building and parking lot for the rest area will be closed
- there will be no parking accommodations for the traveling public and semi-trailer trucks
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
