Daytime Closure for Guardrail Installation on KY 3409 McRoberts/Dunham in Letcher County
Work set for May 10 between Lance Drive and Cottage Row
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (May 8, 2024) The Kentucky Department of Transportation (KYTC) advises the public of a daytime closure for guardrail installation on KY 3409 McRoberts in Letcher County. The project is located between MP 3.4 and 0.6 (.6 miles North of KY 805 )
Geroge B. Stone will close the road on May 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. During this time, crews will install and repair the guardrail. This closure is necessary due to the narrow road width and size of equipment.
All motorists will need to seek alternative routes during working hours, including school buses and emergency vehicles. Please pay close attention to equipment and crews near the work zone and watch for signage.
