Daytime Temporary Road Closure on KY 1486 (Fowler Creek Road) in Kenton County for Maintenance Project Beginning Monday, May 13
Road closure will be in place during working hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
COVINGTON, Ky. (May 9, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a daytime temporary road closure on KY 1486 (Fowler Creek Road) in Kenton County beginning Monday, May 13, as part of a safety improvement maintenance project.
KYTC maintenance crews will complete a cross culvert repair, mowing, ditching, and other various safety improvements.
Crews will be working on KY 1486 between Stephens Road (0.76 mile point) and Cox Road (1.27 mile point). Beginning on Monday, May 13, a temporary road closure will be in place on this section of KY 1486 during working hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. All lanes will reopen at 6 p.m.
Residents will have access during the closure. Signage is in place to inform motorists of the upcoming work.
Please, drive carefully through the work zone to keep our crews safe.
Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 17. KYTC will advise if additional work is needed.
