UPDATE: Early Morning Ramp Closures at I-24/KY 453 Grand Rivers Exit 31
Westbound exit and entry ramps are open - Eastbound ramps remain closed
PADUCAH, Ky. (May 4, 2024) – The westbound ramps at the I-24/KY 453 Grand Rivers Exit 31 interchange have reopened. The eastbound exit and entry ramps remain closed for milling and paving.
Again, the westbound ramps at I-24 Exit 31 are open. The eastbound ramps are expected to reopen by about Noon.
During the ramp closures, message bords are set up direct motorists seeking to use Exit 31 to self-detour to the I-24/U.S. 62 Eddyville-Kuttawa Exit 40 interchange or the I-24/U.S. 62 Calvert City Exit 27 interchange.
This is part of a larger paving project along Interstate 24 from the 29 to 33 mile marker in Livingston County. Motorists should be alert for milling and paving along this section of I-24 until about August 1.
Please note that these ramp closures should have no impact on eastbound or westbound traffic traveling the main line of Interstate 24 in the work zone. KY 453 remains open through the interchange.
