Daytime Road Closure on KY 3060 (Frogtown Road) in Boone County Beginning Tuesday, April 30

Closure will be in place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

COVINGTON, Ky. (April 30, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a daytime road closure on KY 3060 (Frogtown Road) in Boone County beginning Tuesday, April 30.

Frogtown Road will be closed east of Triple Crown Blvd. (mile point 1.87) between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Duke Energy crews will be investigating a concern with the gas main in the area. The road will reopen to traffic by 7:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect traffic delays during peak travel times, and are encouraged to find an alternate route. Signage is in place to warn motorists of the road work.

Weather permitting, crews expect the daytime road closure to be in place through Thursday, May 2.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow. Follow KYTC District 6 on Facebook or Twitter.
