Tree removal operations scheduled
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 19, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a closure scheduled for Athens Boonesboro Road/KY 418 in Clark County. The temporary closure is necessary for tree removal operations due to safety.
Friday, April 19 through Saturday, April 20 – currently and until approximately 12 p.m. Saturday
Athens Boonesboro Road/KY 418
- a closure will be in effect between Jouett Point Lane (milepoint 1.616) and Jones Nursery Road (milepoint 2.025)
- signage to alert motorists will be in place
Alternate Route
- Cleveland Road/KY 1973 to Todds Road/KY 1927
All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
