Work Zone for Milling and Paving along KY 339 in Northern Graves County starting This Week

Work to take about a week to complete

PADUCAH, Ky. (April 17, 2024)  A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has started milling and asphalt paving along a section of KY 339 in northern Graves County.

This milling and paving project along KY 339 runs from near the 29 mile marker north of the KY 121 intersection, extending northward through the Lowes community to about the 34 mile marker near the South Branch Brush Creek Bridge, a distance of about 5 miles.

Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers.  Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and maintenance personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Approximately 900 vehicles travel this section of KY 339 in an average day.

The target completion date is April 26, 2024.
