Work Zone for New Signal Installation on U.S. 68-Business/Main Street at Lakota Drive in Cadiz
Temporary All-WAY Stop in place Monday-Wednesday
PADUCAH, Ky. (April 17, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a work zone with a temporary ALL-Way Stop on U.S. 68-Business/Main Street at Lakota Drive in Cadiz starting Monday, April 22, 2024
This work zone with a temporary All-Way Stop on U.S. 68-Business/Main Street at the Lakota Drive intersection is to allow the installation of new traffic signal supports and a new signal system. The work will require the intersection to function as a temporary All-Way Stop starting at 8:30 a.m., CDT, on Monday, and continuing through Wednesday, April 24.
Motorists should be alert for bucket trucks working in and around the intersection. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and signal personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Once the new signal is ready to become operational, the existing signal heads and supports will be removed.
