Temporary Road Closure on KY 8 (Mary Ingles Highway) in Campbell County Due to Slide
Road closure in place while crews perform clean up efforts
COVINGTON, Ky. (April 12, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of a road closure on KY 8 (Mary Ingles Highway) due to a slide. The closure is at the 12.5 mile point, which is between KY 1566 (Oneonta Road) and KY 2921 (Painter Road).
KYTC crews responded to dispatch early this morning to close this section of KY 8 due to a hill slide. Crews began clean up efforts immediately.
Motorists will need to utilize an alternate route. KYTC will provide an update once the road is reopened to traffic.
