ALERT: KY 3489 in Livingston County Closed at 1.23mm Due to Damaged Cross Drain

Closure is until further notice

PADUCAH, Ky. (March 30, 2024)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed a section of KY 3489 at the 1.23 mile point in Livingston County.

During the overnight hours, engineers responded to a report of an issue with a cross drain along KY 3489/Wilson Road at the 1.23 mile point, immediately west of the Talley Road intersection.

The roadway will remain closed until further notice to allow KYTC District 1 engineers to develop a repair plan.

There is no marked detour.  KY 3489/Wilson Loop is only 1.5 miles long.  Motorists may self detour via either end of KY 3489, which loops off of the north side of U.S. 60 between KY 937/Cutoff Road and the Ledbetter community.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely notice when KY 3489 reopens at this site.
