Gas Line Project on KY 371 (Amsterdam Road) in Kenton County Beginning Monday, April 1

Motorists should expect various daily single lane closures

COVINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of an upcoming gas line project on KY 371 (Amsterdam Road) in Kenton County beginning Monday, April 1. 

Utility crews will be working on Amsterdam Road between Deerfield Drive (mile point 5.6) and Dry Creek Road (mile point 6.3), a distance of 0.7 miles. Duke Energy crews will be working between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. During working hours, a single lane closure will be in place. Flaggers will be used to guide traffic safely through the work zone.

Motorists should expect delays, are encouraged to find an alternate route during working hours.

This project is expected to be completed by Monday, July 1. 

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
