Update - Graefenburg Road/KY 151 project in Anderson County
The Highway Safety Improvement Program
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Operations that began on Monday for roadside regrading will continue through Friday. Regrading is a process utilized to make land more level.
Wednesday, March 27 – currently and until 5 p.m. today
Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day
Graefenburg Road/KY 151
- single lane closures in effect between Old Frankfort Road (milepoint 2.0) and Green Wilson Road (milepoint 2.2)
- motorists can pass through the work zone --- short term delays could be possible
The work is part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program. The HSIP program is designed to provide safety upgrades for roadways.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
