Temporary closure scheduled for I 75 rest area in Scott County
The Northbound rest area is located between MP 127.000 and 128.000
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 14, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for the Northbound rest area. The temporary closure is necessary for remodeling and upgrades to be completed for the building.
Thursday, March 14 through Sunday, August 11 – currently (Thursday) and until 7 p.m. Sunday, August 11
Interstate 75
- the Northbound rest area (building) will be temporarily closed between milepoints 127.000 and 128.000
- the truck parking lot will remain open with restroom accommodations for semi–tractor trailer drivers
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
