Aerial survey operations scheduled for
Jessamine and Woodford Counties
Field control survey activities
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 5, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled survey activities for Keene-Versailles Road/KY 169 in Jessamine and Woodford Counties. The survey is to study enhancements for a highway plan. The project will examine improvements for 4.1 miles of Keene-Versailles Road/KY 169 from Clear Creek in Jessamine County to Shannon Run Road/KY 1967 in Woodford County.
Wednesday, March 6 through Friday, March 29 – 7 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. (Mondays through Fridays)
Keene-Versailles Road/KY 169
Jessamine County – between milepoints 18.6 and 19.2
Woodford County – between milepoints 0.0 and 3.5
- survey work will be in effect
- the majority of the operations will take place off of the roadway (shoulder areas)
- some work will be on the roadway and in effect for approximately 10-15 minutes at a time
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
