Temporary Daytime Closure of KY 960 in Daviess County for Culvert Replacement
Full daytime closure on March 11-13, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (March 5, 2024) – The Kentucky Department of Transportation (KYTC) announces the temporary closure of KY 960 (West 5th Street Road) in Daviess County for necessary culvert replacement.
The closure will affect both directions of traffic from mileposts 1.0 to 1.934, ending at the KY 1554 intersection.
For the duration of the project, a full daytime closure will be implemented.
The closure will start on Monday, March 11, and continue through Wednesday, March 13. Work will be conducted between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily. While efforts will be made to complete the work each day by 2:30 pm, unforeseen site conditions may require longer durations.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and anticipate potential delays during the closure period.
