KY 1820/County Line Rd Reopened at 5mm East of Melber in Graves County
Deck repairs completed on Mayfield Creek Branch Bridge
PADUCAH, Ky. (February 20, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has reopened a section of KY 1820/County Line Road in Graves County.
KY 1820/County Line Road had been closed at the 5 mile marker to allow deck patching on the Mayfield Creek Branch Bridge immediately east of Melber between KY 339 and Edith Wheeler Lane.
The KYTC District 1 Bridge Crew has completed deck repairs on the bridge and reopened KY 1820 at this site.
During the closure, the KYTC Graves County Highway Maintenance Crew completed some additional roadway repairs along the closed section of KY 1820.
As a reminder, the Mayfield Creek Branch Bridge has a 3 ton load limit which generally limits the bridge to vehicles no heavier than a standard SUV or a pickup truck.
