KY 3147 (Ohara Road) Entrance Closure in Boone County Beginning on Monday, Jan. 29
Entrance will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for five working days
COVINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 25, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a closure at the entrance to KY 3147 (Ohara Road) from KY 236 (Donaldson Highway) in Boone County beginning Monday, Jan. 29, at 7 a.m.
The entrance to KY 3147 (0.6 mile point) will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., while contractors install a storm sewer crossing at this intersection. After 4 p.m. the entrance will open, and steel plates will cover the work area. This work is part of the on-going KY 236 (Donaldson Highway) widening project.
Message boards are in place to notify motorists of the upcoming closure.
Weather permitting, this work is expected to be complete by Friday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m.
