Thermoplastic marking operations for
Fayette County
Markings improve reflectivity and visbility
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 30, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of thermoplastic marking operations for Lexington, Fayette County. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows.
Intermittent, partial lane closures will be necessary for markings to be installed. The markings improve reflectivity and visibility.
Thursday, Nov. 30 – currently and until 8 p.m. this evening (time is approximate)
Note:
- intermittent and partial lane closures in effect
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zones
Interstate 75 and Greendale Road
- the Exit 115 (Newtown Pike/KY 922) Northbound Off Ramp
- the Exit 108 (Man O War Boulevard) Southbound Off Ramp
- Greendale Road (milepoint 0.302) at Mercer Road
All work/closures are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
