Corrective Work on KY 3716 (Waymans Branch Road) in Kenton County on Friday, Nov. 10
Single lane closure from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
UPDATE (Nov. 9, 2023) – A single lane closure will be in place on KY 3716 (Waymans Branch Road) on Friday, Nov. 10, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Crews will be performing corrective work on KY 3716 from old Hands Pike (0.4 mile point) to KY 16 (1.7 mile point). Flaggers will be in place to guide traffic safely through the work zone. This corrective work is following the previous resurfacing project that was completed earlier this year. (referenced below)
COVINGTON, Ky. (April 26, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a resurfacing project on KY 3716 (Waymans Branch Road) in Kenton County beginning Tuesday, May 2. Crews will be resurfacing KY 3716 from mile point 0.4 to mile point 1.75 (west of KY 16).
Crews will be on-site from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained, and flaggers will be used at both ends of the work zone. This portion of the KY 3716 resurfacing project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 5.
The second portion of this resurfacing project will require a lane closure on KY 3716 (Taylor Mill Road) from mile point 1.75 to mile point 4.5. This portion of the project will be completed at a later date once crews can return following a gas main relocation. KYTC will advise motorists when the resurfacing project will continue on this section of KY 3716.
Motorists should exercise caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment entering and leaving the work zone.
