One-lane traffic and Delays scheduled for Elkhorn Creek
PIKE COUNTY(Nov. 6, 2023) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of one-lane traffic and delays for paving operations in Pike County along Elkhorn Creek Rd starting this week.
Work will begin on Monday, Nov. 6, along KY 197 near mile point 6.7 (near Sycamore Rd) and continue through mile point 15.2 (1.49 miles East of KY 80). Operations will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for approximately two weeks. Schedules are subject to weather conditions.
During these times, one-lane traffic will be directed by on-site flaggers.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for delays and seek alternate routes during peak traffic times.
Mountain Enterprises has been contracted to perform the work. Please watch for signage and crew in the work zone.
