Daytime Lane Closure on KY 1072 (Sleepy Hollow Road) in Kenton County for Safety Improvement Project Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7

COVINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office announces a daytime single lane closure as part of a pedestrian safety improvement project on KY 1072 (Sleepy Hollow Road) in Kenton County beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Crews will be installing a new crosswalk near St. Agnes School. A single lane closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between US 25 (Dixie Highway) (2.85 mile point) and Old State Road (3.02 mile point), a distance of 0.17 miles. Flaggers will be in place on both sides of the work zone to guide traffic safely through the project area. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes during peak travel times.
The project is expected to be completed by Friday, Nov. 10.
